Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Mingles Router API, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Mingles AI (“Mingles”, “we”, “us”). The Service is built on top of the inference network. By creating an account, generating an API key, or sending requests to the Service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.

2. Account & API keys

Each API key is tied to a single account and identifies your traffic. You are responsible for keeping keys confidential. If a key is leaked, rotate it immediately in the Console. You may not share an account with another person or organization, except via the Team plan seat structure.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may lead to suspension or termination.

4. Plans, billing, USD and crypto

The Service is offered as:

  • a Free tier with a recurring usage allowance,
  • monthly subscription plans (Mini, Standard, Team, and the Agency tiers) billed in advance,
  • pay-as-you-go charges deducted from a prepaid balance at the per-model, per-token rates published on the Pricing page.

You may pay in:

  • USD via Stripe (cards) — billed against your USD balance, or
  • crypto (USDT / USDC stable-coins) on-chain — top-ups credit your USD balance at the current rate at the time of the deposit.

Crypto top-ups credit your USD balance at the current rate when the deposit is received. Each invoice locks the rate at issue time. Mingles is not a money-services business and does not custody crypto on your behalf; deposits into the platform wallet are credited as prepaid Service credit, not held as a deposit.

Prepaid balances are non-transferable and have no cash value outside the Service. We may update pricing at any time; material changes will be communicated at least 7 days in advance.

5. What a subscription entitles you to

Your plan carries a usage allowance, not a fixed number of tokens. Each request draws on that allowance at the published per-token rate for the model you called. Because those rates differ between models, the number of tokens a plan yields depends on which models you use — an expensive model consumes the allowance faster than a cheap one, in exact proportion to the published rates.

Any token figure we quote — on the Pricing page, in marketing material, or in support correspondence — is an illustration of what the allowance buys at the prices in effect on the day it was written, for the model named alongside it. It is not a guaranteed quantity, and it is not the thing you are buying. What you are buying is the allowance and the published rates that convert it into usage.

Rolling limits. On top of the allowance, usage is bounded by rolling windows: a 5-hour window, a weekly window, and the billing period itself. Each is expressed as a share of the allowance and is shown to you as a percentage in the Console, along with the time at which it next resets. These windows spread the allowance over the period; they do not reduce it.

Reaching a limit does not stop the Service. Usage beyond the allowance, or beyond a rolling window, is billed pay-as-you-go from your prepaid balance at the published per-token rates. Requests only fail if you have neither allowance nor balance available.

Allowances do not carry over. An unused allowance expires at the end of its period and is replaced by a fresh one at renewal. It is not refundable and has no cash value.

We may change allowances, rolling-window shares and per-token rates. Current values for every plan are published on the Pricing page, and your live consumption is always visible in the Console. Changes that reduce what an active paid plan provides take effect no earlier than 7 days after we notify registered users by email, and never mid-period: your current period runs to its end on the terms in force when it began.

Fair use. Allowances are sized for the normal use of one account. We may apply proportionate technical limits to traffic that degrades the Service for others — see the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Promotional credit

Credit we grant rather than sell — referral rewards, signup bonuses, gifts and campaign credit — is promotional credit. It is not a payment, is not refundable, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred or withdrawn.

Promotional credit expires. Referral credit granted to an invited user expires 30 days after it is granted; credit granted to the inviter expires 90 days after it is granted. Other promotional credit expires on the date stated when it is granted, or 30 days after grant if no date was stated. Your Console shows what you hold and when it lapses, and we email before credit granted before these Terms took effect expires.

Money you paid never expires. Top-ups and any other funds you put into your account are unaffected by this section, and expiry is always applied to promotional credit only. Where an account holds both, spending is applied to promotional credit first, so your own funds last longer.

Expiry never takes back what you have already used, and never reduces an account below zero. If you use the Service after we notify you of a pending expiry, we do not apply that expiry.

7. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. On-chain crypto deposits, once credited, are refundable on-chain per the window stated in the Refund Policy; we cannot reverse on-chain transactions.

8. Service availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on third-party model providers on the inference network and on the network’s own consensus. We may rate-limit, fail over, or temporarily suspend traffic to protect the platform. Status is at https://router.mingles.ai/status.

9. Content and ownership

You retain all rights in your prompts and inputs (“Customer Content”). You grant Mingles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.

Because the Service routes requests through the inference network, Customer Content may be processed by independent inference providers participating in that network. The protocol minimizes what providers see, but you should not submit secrets or regulated data through any LLM API, ours or otherwise.

We do not train models on Customer Content.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, including the website, documentation, brand, and proprietary code, is owned by Mingles AI. The inference network protocol is open source and not owned by Mingles.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MODEL OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR ANY PURPOSE.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINGLES’ AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) USD 100. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES.

15. Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Mingles against third-party claims arising out of your use of the Service, Customer Content, or violation of these Terms.

16. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, security risk, or as required by law. You may terminate at any time by deleting your account.

17. Modifications

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated date and notify registered users by email for material changes.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mingles AI is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
